Pirate Goods Sailor v3 – Leather EDC Knife Sleeve

Pocket knife sleeve with a loop for your flashlight or pen.

The Sailor v3 is an open-top pocket knife sleeve. Pick your size to fit your knife, then pick what goes next to it: a pen loop, a AAA flashlight loop, an AA flashlight pocket, or nothing. It lives in your front pocket and holds everything in place without rattling.

What fits — size by size

S — item 55 × 100 mm / pocket 45 × 100 mm
Swiss Army Pioneer, Cadet, Buck 55, WE Banter. Small pen (up to 10 cm).

M — item 55 × 120 mm / pocket 45 × 120 mm
Buck 110, Benchmade Bugout, Osborne. Full-size pen.

L — item 65 × 120 mm / pocket 55 × 120 mm
Spyderco Para 3, Benchmade Adamas Mini, Leatherman Arc, Wave, Skeletool, Charge, Sidekick, Super Tool, Wingman.

XL — item 75 × 130 mm / pocket 65 × 130 mm

Flashlight loops: AAA tested with Olight i3t and ReyLight Pineapple Mini. AA tested with Olight i5t.

The leather (and why it’s named on the label)

• Badalassi Carlo (Olmo, Tabacco) — Italian vegetable-tanned full-grain. Firm, builds a deep patina.
• Crazy Horse (Pistachio) — waxed pull-up. Scratches rub out with your thumb, color shifts with carry.
• Ponte Wax (Tan, Pumpkin) — vegetable-tanned, smooth. Tan is neutral; Pumpkin is warm orange.
• Koala (Black) — smooth, even, minimal marking.

All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps.

Who it’s not for

If you want a snap-button closure, look at the Sailor v2. For belt carry, the Sailor v4 has belt cutouts. For a belt clip, look at the Sailor v5.

Which size do I need?
Match your knife to the list above. When in doubt, size up — the sleeve breaks in and holds your knife snugly.

What’s the difference between the loop options?
No loop: knife sleeve only. Pen loop: a loop for a standard pen (D ~11mm). AAA loop: for a AAA flashlight (D ~15mm). AA pocket: a deeper pocket for an AA flashlight (D ~18mm).

Does the leather scratch?
Crazy Horse (Pistachio) marks with use — most scratches rub out with your thumb. All others are smoother.
